i probably won't rename, but nothing is certain.

what i am more curious about is, whether or not i'll be abe to see alts of a player as long as one of their names is on my fl.

I will rename. One reason is that this name was supposed to be a short term joke but I got stuck with it. Those couple important people have the way of contacting me so name change won't really matter to them as they'll find out who I am. Haters can ...off

If someone does decide to steal this name, it won't take too long for people to realize it's not really me.

I'll make a human char with my current ign "Sir Belzebu" but my other chars will be named based on my real life last name, my Norn Ranger will be called "Bardy Belzebuson".

But I like to name characters thematically. So I'll probably name Silvary after plants, Norn with nordic names, Asura with asura-sounding names, and Charr with names that follow charr naming conventions.

That only leaves humans for completely names completely free of constraints.

I'll be keeping my name for 1 character, but will cease to use "Rolin" as the base for all my characters. Only one will be using that base. The rest will have new names.

Nah.. I'll be pulling up the old Diablo 2 name for that one. And retiring the old Stormscape Paladin, Kabuki Shogun, and Essence Keeper.

I usually keep the name of my current main character even in other games, as long as it fits...

This tough would require me to stick to a human as a main in GW2, so I'm yet to take a final decision.
